unwrapping said: Hi - I second Amanda's advice about using the photo post (with multiple photos) for Tumblr-native comics. 70% of Tumblr views come from the dashboard, and the text post won't do justice for your work. For great advice from Benjamin "The Frogman" Grelle on Tumblr web comics, do a Google search for "Tumblr tip for webcomic artists." Thanks, Mykl
Thanks for the advice. I was thinking about adopting and building on Homestuck’s format of using gif images, text, and additional media to tell a story. It’s more of a design choice for a story I came up with a while ago than a pure webcomic. For example, I’m studying the scores of Frozen and The Last of Us to put unobtrusive music to the whole experience.
My fiddling around and experimenting with the limits of the HTML can be found here. And I will take your advice into consideration, as I believe the HTML options are available for and applicable to all the post formats. :)
